Hannah Bees

Hannah Bees (she/her) is a Director with over a decade of development experience. She has successfully led fundraising initiatives for education, healthcare, arts and culture, and advocacy organizations. 

With expertise in major gift strategy, board development, and operational assessments, Hannah has an eye towards systems building (both operationally and strategically) for sustainable organizational growth. Passionate about equitable access to arts and culture, Hannah is inspired to work with organizations across the field to help build sustainable programming for NYC communities. During her time with Advance Collaborative, Hannah has successfully helped more than 25 organizations reach their fundraising goals with a cumulative total raised of over $35M.

Hannah is a graduate of the University of Iowa where she studied history with a concentration on museum and historic house management. Prior to her time at Advance, she was a member of the individual giving team at Queens Museum. Outside of work, you can find Hannah baking, reliving the Cubs 2016 World Series win, or trying to convince everyone that her Jerry Maguire impression is actually good.
