Associate
Molly Markow (she/they) is an Associate on the Institutional Giving Team at Advance Collaborative. With over ten years of experience in the arts and nonprofit sector, her work is rooted in a commitment to artists and the organizations that sustain them. She brings curiosity, rigor, and deep attentiveness to her work with clients and organizations.
Prior to joining Advance, Molly served as Grants & Relationship Manager at Ox-Bow School of Art & Artists' Residency, where she built and scaled an institutional grants portfolio with funders including the Helen Frankenthaler Foundation, Lenore Tawney Foundation, Andy Warhol Foundation, Ruth Arts, and the National Endowment for the Humanities. Before that, she managed programs at Women's Studio Workshop in Rosendale, NY, where she spearheaded the inaugural Upstate Art Book Fair. She holds an MFA in Printmaking from Illinois State University and a BFA from the University of Wyoming. At Advance, her clients include United States Artists, Bard Graduate Center, the Center for Arts & Advocacy, and Company One Theatre. Outside of work Molly enjoys trail running in the Hudson Valley, attending art shows, and tending to her porch garden.
